Position Description

This role will facilitate an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes on ownership, trust, agility and collaboration to develop a performance-driven and values-led organization.

The jobholder will manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department and carry out responsibilities in the entire employee life cycle which includes talent attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and separation.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and onboarding of new hires

  • Act as a business partner by working closely with the hiring managers and external recruiters to coordinate and facilitate recruitment in the organisation
  • Apply and/ renew for work passes for work pass holders and associated passes for dependents timely
  • Support the effective and timely onboarding of new hires and help in the relocation matters if necessary

Legislation & Regulation

  • Ensure compliance with all existing governmental employment legislation and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company HR policies and governmental laws and regulations

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Assist with employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee engagement
  • Help to support events and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement and develop a positive and cohesive JERAGM culture

Human Capital Management System

  • Maintain employee-related databases
  • Prepare and analyse reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department
  • Enhance the current HR systems by looking into possible analytical functions/ reports

Performance Management

  • Guide employees on the process of performance management from goal-setting to mid-year and year-end review

Data Analytics

  • Analyse data and statistics for trends and patterns with regard to hiring practices, recruitment, employee engagement, turnover, leave patterns and make recommendations to improve current practices

Employee Off-boarding

  • Assist in the off-boarding of leavers

Daily HR Operations

  • Assist to provide a timely reply to employees on queries related to systems, claims, leave, benefits, etc
  • Ad-hoc matters as required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, Business/HR Analytics or any relevant field
  • 4 to 6 years of HR administration work experience with some business partnering background
  • Good knowledge of employment laws and practices in Singapore
  • Good computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated skills in database management and administrative record keeping
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality, discreet, meticulous and detail oriented
  • Flexible, organized, adaptable and responsive with quick and accurate turnaround in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • A team player who can also work independently
  • IHRP Certification preferred
