HR Business Partner
Description

The HR Business Partner oversees the Human Resource processes.  Responsible for overall functions of recruitment and selection, employee development and retention, employee relations and experience, and enhancement of HR policies and procedures. Strong knowledge of local employment law and other relevant regulations to ensure compliance and update the internal processes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Specific to The Corporation:

  • Represent Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity and truth.
  • Comply with Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. anti-graft, non-bribery requirements.
  • Efficient and Adaptive approach in People Management and Practices. Serve as the point of contact for employees, management and project partners.

 

Responsibilities Specific to the Role:

  • Act as a strategic partner to HR Manager, providing guidance on HR policies, practices, and employment law.
  • Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning efforts.
  • Understand resource needs and responsible for recruitment and selection
  • Responsible for Work Pass Administration and Process
  • Liaison with MOM and establish reputable relationship
  • Manage new hire pre-onboarding paperwork and deliver onboarding program
  • Maintain full employee database and personnel folders
  • Responsible for Government Paid Leave claims processes
  • Support learning & development initiatives and participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to monitor key HR metrics.
  • Utilize data to identify trends, forecast workforce needs, and drive strategic HR initiatives.
  • Build relationship and establish rapport with all levels
  • Ability to identify human issues and handling them closely with HR Manager
  • Embrace Fortis values, culture and set the example
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matter
  • Participate in employee engagement and teambuilding events to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; IHRP Certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on People Analytics and Employee Development
  • Proven experience in leveraging HR data to drive strategic decisions and improve HR processes.
  • Strong knowledge of HR technologies and systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing HR challenges.
