Stage 1: Experience and training review (online submission)

Notes:

  • The fee for Stage 1 Experience and Training Review is non-refundable and/or non-transferrable.
  • Candidates may select an assessment date directly through the online assessment scheduling system after payment of assessment fee.
  • Candidates will be informed of their eligibility to proceed to Stage 2 onsite assessment at least 4 weeks from the scheduled date of assessment.

Stage 2: Knowledge and application (onsite assessment)

Notes:

  • Stage 2 onsite assessment fee is payable only upon successful advancement from Stage 1: Experience and training review.
  • IHRP reserve the rights to assign alternative assessment date due to unforeseen circumstances. Such change of assessment dates initiated by IHRP will not be subjected to any re-scheduling fee. 
  • Upon notification of successful advancement to Stage 2, candidates are allowed 5 working days to change assessment date or withdraw without penalty fee. Rescheduling fee chargeable thereafter.

Stage 2 (re-assessment)

Notes:

  • A re-assessment fee* will be chargeable to candidates who wish to re-sit for a paper. There is no minimum re-assessment interval between the 1st assessment attempt and subsequent re-assessments.
  • L1 assessments are carried out monthly.
  • L2 assessments are carried out on a quarterly basis
  • All assessment results have a validity period of 18 months.

* Re-assessment fees are used defray administrative costs.


Rescheduling Fee

Notes:

Any rescheduling of Stage 2 onsite assessments must be made, and fees paid, no later than ten (10) full working days before the scheduled assessment date. Candidates must inform and reschedule assessment date directly through the online assessment scheduling system.


Cancellation Fee

Notes:

In the event the candidate elects to withdraw prior to IHRP certification assessment deadline (at least ten (10) full working days before the scheduled assessment date), candidates will be provided a refund less $70 for IHRP Level 1 certification assessment and $100 for IHRP Level 2 certification assessment to defray administrative costs. Any bank charges resulting from the refund shall be borne by the candidate. No refund is allowed for notice given less than ten (10) full working days.


Stage 3: Continuing Professional Development (Recertification Fee)

Notes:

Certification is valid for three years after the date of conferment. A renewal of certificate is required to remain certified. A renewal fee of for IHRP-CP and IHRP-SP will apply. For more information, please visit our recertification page. Kindly note, you must be currently an IHRP certified professional for the entire period of certification to be eligible for re-certification.

Notes:

  • No refunds will be made for a candidate who registers for IHRP assessment but does not cancel or attend the IHRP assessment.
  • All cancellations and rescheduling must be made at least ten (10) full working days before the scheduled assessment date.
  • If the cancellation or rescheduling request is made less than ten (10) full working days before the scheduled assessment date, the candidate is considered a no-show.
  • If the participant requests to be rescheduled following a "no-show", he or she will need to repay the entire cost of certification (application fee + assessment fee) before being rescheduled.

Fees are due according to published assessment calendar and/or in correspondence from IHRP. The fees stated in this policy are correct at the time of publication. IHRP reserves the right to alter fees without prior notice.

Exceptions

IHRP will need to be notified in writing for any exceptional circumstances no later than ten (10) full working days after the scheduled assessment date. Such requests should be communicated via hello@ihrp.sg, stating candidate name, NRIC/FIN/Passport number, date of assessment and reason(s) for the exceptions. All requests must be supported by appropriate documentation which include:

  • Hospitalisation or medical certificates issued by registered hospitals or clinics under the Law of the Republic of Singapore
  • Death Certificate due to the death in the immediate family
  • Police Reports for disabling accidents
  • Courts appearance
  • Unexpected National Service mobilisation
  • Other extenuating circumstances not mentioned above

IHRP may, at its discretion, approve a request to postpone or cancel an assessment for a candidate on a case by case basis. Relevant rescheduling or cancellation fees may apply.
