Assessment & Insights

The Assessment team, which you will be a part of, oversees the assessment and development process required for the certification of HR professionals’ competencies. Part of this includes upholding a transparent, fair and robust assessment process.

Job Title: Manager for Assessment & Insights

Job Responsibilities include:

Management of Certification assessments

  • Develop and review assessment cases, questions and answers as part of IHRP’s efforts to maintain a robust and relevant Question Bank
  • Implement new/improved processes, test ancillaries (e.g., candidate preparation guides), and/or systems to enhance the readiness of HR professionals undergoing the IHRP certification
  • Support the collection and analysis of various assessment data to validate and inform the quality of assessment
  • Ensure robust controls are in place for the recording, storage, management and dissemination of confidential and sensitive assessment data
  • Facilitate regular reviews and updates of the assessment policies and operational framework to ensure service quality and fairness for all candidates

Programme Development

  • Develop and implement programs, projects and activities designed to increase IHRP’s pool of Assessors and create a vibrant community
  • Establish standards for the training of IHRP Assessors and renew their status and qualification as an IHRP Assessor
  • Serve as a liaison lead to mobilise and coordinate resources across different pools of IHRP Assessors to support IHRP’s strategic role as the Voice of the HR Community in Singapore
  • Identify and convene platforms for the Assessor community, corporate and public sectors to dialogue and co-create plans to implement changes to address sector issues and challenges

Assessment Portfolio

  • Execute Assessment Strategy set out by Head of Assessment & Insights that covers testing, review, calibration and certification activities required by IHRP to maintain its mark of quality
  • Conceptualise a portfolio approach that harnesses interrelated products within IHRP’s existing product portfolio for value generation
  • Undertake business and product research aimed at optimising IHRP’s portfolio of products and data (e.g., diagnostic tool data and question bank content)

Requirements:

Education and experience:

  • Having at least 5 years of experience as a project lead, and/or consulting experience
  • A relevant degree in human resources, psychology or business is desirable
  • Familiarity with design, development and delivery of assessment questions, tools and tests
  • Prior experience in a training institute, certification or professional body would be advantageous
  • Deep execution experience in managing a full project life cycle

Engagement Team

The Engagement (ENG) team, which you will be a part of, drives the engagement and outreach to the HR and business communities in support of Human Capital development. The team is commonly seen as the business development and partnership function of IHRP, engaging and managing the pipeline of community/corporate leads that will ultimately lead to conversion for certification.

Job Title: Manager, Community Engagement

Job Responsibilities include:

The community manager will oversee two communities:

  • Skills Framework Workshop

This is a community made up of attendees of the Skills Framework Workshop to encourage the adoption of the 33 national skills frameworks for workforce competencies and create a common skills language for individuals, employers and training providers.

  • IHRP-Associates

This is a new community of HR students, junior HR professionals and working professionals who are interested in a HR career. The objective of this programme is to engage, nurture and nudge the community to upskill their competencies in future-ready HR skills and ultimately attain their IHRP certification.

You will support the Head of Engagement in growing and engaging the two communities to meet the organisation's desired business outcomes. Your role will primary consist of:

Events management

  • Work with training and learning partners to run skills framework workshops and adoption clinics
  • Organize and manage events to engage associates
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications teams on events publicity

Stakeholder management

  • Manage stakeholders and regular reporting to stakeholder and management
  • Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Manage budget and projections

Partnership

  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to identify partners for associates programme
  • Work with internal team on structure and system for managing associates programme
  • Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g. launching of community program, creating an event series)

Community engagement

  • Set, plan and implement communication strategies
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content if suitable
  • Respond to comments and queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Build relationships with associates, business partners and HR professionals
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. attendance at events)

Requirements:

Education and experience:

  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience as community manager or similar role
  • Experience planning and leading community initiatives
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
  • A relevant degree in human resources, marketing or business is desirable
  • Prior experience in a training institute, certification or professional body would be advantageous

Professional Practices

The Professional Practices (PP) team, which you will be a part of, will champion the setting and upholding of the gold standards in HR by implementing the IHRP Professional Certification Framework and promoting public confidence in the standards of HR professionals certified under IHRP.

Job Title: Senior Manager of Professional Practices

You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Professional Practices (PP) across various special projects such as competency standards refresh, new capability development pathways and thought leadership/research studies, as well as manage the course accreditation process. You will serve as deputy to the Head of PP in her absence, in terms of Board and Committee stakeholder management and oversight of PP scope and team.

a) Competency Standards Refresh

  • Lead the project scope and manage the consulting partner to refresh of the Body of Competencies (BoC) and Skills Framework for HR (SFw)
  • Review and update the certification and recertification eligibility criteria and frameworks
  • Support the Discipline Committee for the Code of Professional Conduct (CoC) investigations

b) Capabilities Development Pathway

  • Lead the development of the standards, frameworks and requirements related to new capabilities development pathways and micro-badges

c) HR Tools & Resources

  • Lead a team of volunteers to curate, review and vet HR tools and resources that can be shared and leveraged by the IHRP Community

d) Course accreditation

  • Lead the management and oversight of the IHRP course accreditation policies, procedures and standards
  • Engage with training providers to pursue IHRP course accreditation (i.e. engage with training providers interested in course accreditation and review the course materials submitted to ensure alignment to BoC sub-competencies)
  • Monitor and meet course accreditation metrics such as number of training providers accredited, number of courses accredited and percentage of BoC coverage

e) Deputy Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Head of Professional Practices on key PP projects such as partnership with international professional HR bodies, preparation for the annual signature Think Tank event, joint thought leadership research studies and Singapore HR Talent Pipeline research
  • Serve as deputy to the Head of PP in her absence, in terms of Board and Committee stakeholder management and oversight of PP scope and team

Experience:

  • Approximately 7-10 years of experience in HR-related roles (e.g. HR Consulting or internal HR), with a sound understanding of HR issues and challenges
  • A strong project-manager, service-orientated and systematic thinker with the ability to manage diverse external and internal stakeholders

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • A good presenter, able to present with confidence and poise to senior level audience
  • Self-directed, attention to detail and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and decisions
